Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out constructability reviews during the construction stages to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Review and provide timely feedback on design consultant and contractor submissions, ensuring that all comments are incorporated into the project.
  • Attend progress and technical meetings with contractors and other subcontractors to ensure that all parties are aware of project developments.
  • Coordinate with the consultant's document controller to ensure that all project documents are properly controlled.
  • Review and provide recommendations on design concepts, materials, and change requests submitted by contractors.
  • Participate in the pre-qualification of construction subcontractors and chair technical and progress meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Eligible for GCC engineering membership.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience on large-sized construction projects.
