Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Land Management Plans: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive land management plans for 20 large properties, focusing on optimizing agricultural production. Collaborate with our Landscape Architect to ensure the plans consider both agricultural needs and aesthetic landscaping goals.
  • Conduct Feasibility Studies and Soil Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and soil analysis to determine optimal crop selection and planting strategies.
  • Design and Implement Efficient Irrigation Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of efficient irrigation systems for all properties. Collaborate with a Landscape Architect to ensure the design meets agricultural water management needs.
  • Develop and Implement Sustainable Agricultural Practices: Develop and implement sustainable agricultural practices, including pest control, crop rotation, and soil conservation methods.
  • Manage Agricultural Equipment and Machinery: Manage agricultural equipment and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and efficient utilization.
  • Analyze Agricultural Data: Analyze agricultural data and identify opportunities for improvement in yield, resource use, and cost reduction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as an Agricultural Engineer in a large-scale farming operation.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing sustainable agricultural practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of soil science, irrigation systems, crop production techniques, and agricultural equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant agricultural software (if applicable).
  • A valid UAE driver's license (preferred).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
