Key Responsibilities
  • Meet Sales Targets: Meet annual sales targets for assigned clients, ensuring timely and effective sales strategies are implemented to achieve desired results.
  • Ensure SIOP Targets: Ensure Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) monthly targets are met for assigned clients, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Tender Preparation: Actively review specifications and identify changes made by customers, involvement in tender preparation, including Guaranteed Technical Particulars and compliance statements.
  • Solution Configuration: Configure solutions in Tacton Configurator as per customer requirements, coordinating with Sales Managers and Tendering Department to ensure correct materials are quoted.
  • Customer Support: Handle technical queries and clarifications with customers, responding in a timely manner, and obtaining drawing approval for all successful tenders/inquiries.
  • Delivery Management: Ensure timely deliveries as per tender requirements, monitoring and dialogue with the commercial department and manufacturing division (if needed).
  • Reporting and CRM: Issue Tendering Monthly report to the Regional Sales Manager, ensuring CRM is maintained up to date.
Job Context
  • The role will be based in Dubai, with frequent visits to assigned customers and presentations of Lucy Electric portfolio, focusing on French-speaking territories.
  • Prequalify Lucy Electric with new customers, maintaining relationships with contractors, consultants, end-users, and other stakeholders.
  • Attend exhibitions and sales promotions on behalf of the Company, which could be inside or outside of the U.A.E.
  • Attend tender openings when required, undertaking any other duties and responsibilities as required/instructed to maintain and/or improve the efficiency, quality, and service provided by the Sales & Marketing Department.
  • Work with the broad team in other departments to identify proper and correct materials, part assemblies, and requirements for various requisitions necessary for the job/task to coordinate and drive business success.
  • Be ready to travel as per business requirements, which may incur overnight stays outside the U.A.E.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of information relating to the company's business and staff.
  • Adhere to the established safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university, master's degree, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • 3 years minimum experience in Sales of Electrical Equipment.
