Job Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of joinery projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality craftsmanship, and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to coordinate with clients, design teams, production staff, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful project execution.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and budget constraints, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear and regular communication throughout the project.
  • Understand client requirements and ensure these are reflected in the final product, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure that joinery designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Oversee site managers, subcontractors, and joinery team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all team members are clear on project objectives and timelines.
  • Monitor project costs and manage budgets to ensure financial performance.
  • Identify areas for cost savings without compromising on quality.
  • Report regularly to management on financial performance against project budgets.
  • Ensure that all work meets the company's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that joinery works are being carried out as per design specifications.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement safety procedures on-site to minimize risks and ensure the safety of the team and contractors.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Resolve conflicts between team members, contractors, and clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction or joinery industry.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple joinery projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of joinery processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Familiarity with CAD software and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED 8,000 - AED 10,000 per month
