About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to join our Buildings and Places team at Project Redirect Inc Of The District. As a key member of our senior management group, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects from proposal development to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Lead a team of project managers, planners, and design disciplines to deliver projects within budget, quality, and timelines.
  2. Safety and Quality: Champion AECOM's safety initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  3. Contract and Financial Management: Manage the preparation of contracts, service agreements, partnerships, variations, and change orders, as well as financial management and budget control.
  4. Team Management: Manage and lead a team of project managers and coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  5. Client Management: Work closely with clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  6. Marketing and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and contribute to the development of marketing strategies to attract new clients.
Requirements
  1. Experience: A proven track record of delivering major multi-disciplinary projects in the Middle East, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in the master planning, design, architectural, or engineering disciplines.
  2. Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team and lead multi-disciplinary project teams, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a lead role delivering major projects.
  3. Skills: Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience in managing contracts, service agreements, partnerships, variations, and change orders.
  4. Education: A Honours degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field, with additional degrees or qualifications in related fields considered favorably.
