Role Overview:

As a Compensation and Benefits Strategist at AECOM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our employee rewards framework. Your expertise will guide the renewal and enhancement of our benefits offerings, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and employee needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Management: Spearhead the renewal processes for health, life, and disability insurance, fostering robust partnerships with providers, brokers, and consultants.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate agreements, monitor service quality, and guarantee that our programs remain competitive and financially viable.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with vendors to improve benefits programs, aiming to elevate the overall employee experience.
  • Evaluation and Innovation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current benefits, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and devise strategic, innovative solutions.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously refine our benefits offerings.
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the rollout of new or revised benefits programs, including crafting communication strategies and leading employee education initiatives.
  • Wellness Promotion: Advocate for wellness programs and employee assistance initiatives, creating a nurturing workplace atmosphere.
  • Policy Development: Formulate and regularly update policies related to employee benefits and rewards.
  • Global Benchmarking: Conduct a comprehensive review and benchmarking of benefits, utilizing the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to inform leaders and HR teams about offerings in the Middle East, thereby enhancing talent acquisition and retention.
Rewards Management:
  • Annual Reviews: Lead the annual salary and bonus review processes, ensuring equitable salary benchmarking and merit increase recommendations that comply with regulatory and budgetary frameworks.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice on salary and incentive proposals, job structuring, and compensation policies to HR managers and business leaders.
  • Market Analysis: Perform market research to benchmark compensation levels, benefits, and incentive structures against industry standards and competitors.
  • Out of Cycle Adjustments: Manage and monitor Out of Cycle (OOC) adjustments for accurate reporting and budget analysis.
