The Junior HVAC Service Engineer plays a vital role under the guidance of the Operations Manager within the Aftermarket HVAC Segment. This position involves executing service, maintenance, and retrofit projects related to Building Technologies and Solutions, specifically focusing on HVAC Systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior HVAC Service Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Coordinating activities on-site among customers, subcontractors, supervisors, and both field and office teams.
  • Monitoring and executing scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Managing assigned Labor & Materials (L&M) and Point of Contact (POC) jobs, which involve testing, commissioning, and timely progress reporting.
  • Providing necessary documentation to the office team for accurate job invoicing.

This role is part of a collaborative team environment, offering opportunities to enhance your technical and project management skills.

Operational Duties

In this capacity, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering essential technical support to ensure efficient job execution.
  • Collecting updates on ongoing projects and reporting to the Operations Manager weekly.
  • Following up on billing for completed jobs to ensure timely processing.
  • Ensuring timely ordering and delivery of necessary parts and materials.

You will engage with all relevant stakeholders to facilitate prompt reporting, maintain transparency, and resolve any site-related challenges. This position emphasizes the technical aspects of HVAC systems. While formal training will be provided, a significant portion of your learning will occur through practical experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

Demonstrating your expertise will involve conducting training on system operations and preparing handover documentation to guarantee a seamless transition for customers, while also upholding high safety standards for yourself and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 0-1 year of experience or internship in Mechanical or HVAC systems.

• Results-driven, persistent, self-motivated, and customer-oriented.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in business analysis.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable to various personalities and work styles.

• Fluency in English is required.

• Strong analytical abilities.
