About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandizing Operations Animation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic process for B&M and online animations and activations.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Merchandising Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for merchandising operations, including sampling and gifting, instore animations, and online brand activations.
  2. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency in gifting, sampling, and merchandizing operations.
  3. Animation and Activation Planning: Plan and execute yearly calendars for animations, sampling, gifting, and other category lead initiatives.
  4. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of directors and specialists, overseeing the execution of animations for B&M and online.
  5. Communication and Reporting: Circulate monthly animation and activation books, share monthly animation and activation overviews by category, and track and share monthly animation installation updates with stores.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Operational savvy with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams and drive merchandising animation online and offline.
  3. Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and make decisions that drive business results.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior leadership and influence stakeholders.
  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of directors and specialists.
