Merchant Acquisition Representative

We're passionate about empowering local businesses to thrive on our platform. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a key role in driving this vision forward by building partnerships with new merchants and developing innovative marketing strategies.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Exploring new business opportunities and identifying potential merchants who share our values.
- Delving into each merchant's business, from their products and services to their target audience and competitive landscape.
- Designing and implementing effective marketing campaigns that drive sales and engagement.
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring seamless transitions of accounts to the Merchant Development team.
- Monitoring and surpassing sales targets while refining your sales skills and performance.
To excel in this position, you'll require:
- Success in sales, preferably within a territory or for a product.
- Inside sales experience, phone/email selling, and social selling skills.
- Proven transactional selling abilities and relationship management with small-sized accounts.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Discipline, accountability, and a focus on delivering results and owning your performance.
- Integrity, work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Salesforce or other CRM experience is beneficial.
