Role Overview:
The Motor Claims Executive is responsible for managing and processing motor insurance claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assess and validate police reports to ensure precise claim settlements or repudiations.
- Handle recovery notifications and incoming claims notifications promptly.
- Coordinate with surveyors for all necessary surveys and approvals.
- Address queries from brokers and customers in a timely manner.
- Process and issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for vehicle repairs and third-party property claims.
- Collaborate with service providers, including workshops and property repairers, as well as other insurance companies.
- Validate and process settlements across various coverage types (e.g., hire car, towing, property damage, excess accounting) for insured parties and third parties.
- Respond to and clarify inquiries from BAH claim handlers regarding claim coverage and approvals.
- Manage complaints and draft official responses to regulators in case of escalations.
Business Acumen:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of GIG Motor Insurance Policies and Unified policies in the Gulf region.
Operational and Technical Skills:
- Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
- Strong computer skills.
- Meticulous attention to technical details.
- Ability to plan and organize logically and systematically.
