The Material Management Department at Talent Pal is dedicated to addressing complex aviation material needs with precision. Our team is organized into specialized units, including Cabin IFE, Airframe, Engines, Inventory Control, and Operations Support, as well as dedicated teams for Rotable Components and Outstation support. We ensure timely availability of spares and components across the network, adhering to our quality and safety standards.
Our core responsibilities include managing reorder levels, forecasting needs, inventory management, and coordinating with Procurement for prompt deliveries. We provide 24/7 support for critical/AOG requirements and facilitate outstation operations through pooling and borrowing. Our team is committed to operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Review technical logs, light and heavy maintenance packages, delay and incident reports to identify aircraft/engine/component defects qualified for claim under standard warranty remedies, insurance guarantees, commitment letters, and other contractual provisions.
- Review Engineering Orders and Special Engineering Work cards to identify claimable costs based on SB industry support, commitment letters, and other contractual provisions. Define claimable cost elements, industry support end dates, and critical analysis required during claim preparation and submission.
- Analyze scrap workflows routed to Warranty for approval, reviewing the reason for removal and the nature of defect. Initiate claims or provide information on opportunities for availing warranty remedies, discounted replacement costs, or recoveries through the insurance/3rd party damage process.
- Identify available guarantees applicable to aircraft components and engines. Conduct periodic reviews of component/system performance and maintenance cost elements, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Submit claims to recover undue maintenance costs or obtain replacement/loan components at no charge to Emirates.
- Review technical problems highlighted by FTM (Fleet Technical Management), Boeing FTD, or Fleet Team Resolution Process (FTRP) or Airbus Technical Follow-Ups. Correlate to Emirates' own experience and identify records of in-warranty failures, submitting claims or defect notices to reserve EK warranty rights against technical resolutions, terminating fixes, and relevant remedies.
- Review and qualify warranty referrals from Repairs team. Initiate claims for cases whose disputes are contractually in nature.
- Oversee the completion of tasks assigned to the Warranty Supervisor, ensuring qualified maintenance activities are claimed within 45 days. Generally support and assist Warranty Controller with day-to-day activities and addressing queries from external customers.
- Administer the core function of Claims Management group through timely submission of claims, initial review of vendor dispositions to identify fully accepted claims or those that require review/decision of Warranty Controller and/or claim initiator, consistent follow-up of open claims, and identification of those that require escalation processing of credit notes and closure of claims.
