Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective tendering and contracting strategies to maximize value for the client, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Manage the contractual and commercial elements of procurement processes, collaborating closely with project managers.
  • Compile and prepare tender and contract documentation in partnership with project teams, legal, and finance departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on prequalification processes for bidders, including evaluations and necessary approvals.
  • Engage in both technical and commercial evaluations of tenders, leading the assessment of financially viable offers.
  • Draft comprehensive techno-commercial evaluation reports and present recommendations.
  • Facilitate award recommendations, ensuring all approvals are secured and finalize contracts with selected bidders.
  • Oversee the development and adherence to contractor procedures, ensuring all documentation meets contractual requirements.
  • Assist in the evaluation of contractor requests for vendor and subcontractor approvals.
  • Monitor contractor procurement performance, focusing on timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Administer contractor requests for vendor and subcontractor approvals.
  • Review and negotiate revised terms and claims as part of a dedicated team, coordinating with management.
  • Support project controls in gathering and analyzing cost and progress data, contributing to the Contract Administration System.
  • Coordinate the final close-out of completed contracts, ensuring resolution of outstanding issues and providing input on performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
