Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation
Ensure all food preparation meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Team Supervision and TrainingSupervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties to the highest standards.
Cost Control and Inventory ManagementAssist in controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and managing inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
Guest Service and CommunicationAssist in resolving guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a positive Guest experience.
Health and Safety and Food SafetyEnsure compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety and food safety legislation.
Requirements- Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a Chef de Partie - Pastry or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie.
Leadership and Coaching SkillsStrong coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop the team.
Food Hygiene and SafetyAchieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Availability and FlexibilityLocally available for a Food Trial and able to work under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications- Hotel Industry Experience
Previous experience in the hotel industry in luxury segment.
Fine Dining ExperienceFine dining experience and knowledge of current food trends.
