Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Compliance: Monitor facility operating plans to ensure alignment with environmental protection policies and standards, identifying deviations and developing solutions to environmental problems.
- Environmental Risk Management: Develop and implement Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management programs, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, to mitigate environmental risks and improve compliance with company and governmental regulations.
- Environmental Assessments: Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and provide recommendations for improvement, ensuring that our facilities operate in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
- Environmental Performance Monitoring: Monitor air quality, wastewater management, water conservation, and waste management performance, establishing environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with company policies and strategies.
- Environmental Management Systems: Develop, review, and deploy facility environmental management systems in alignment with ISO 14001, ensuring that our facilities operate in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
- Environmental Procedures and Guidelines: Develop and maintain environmental procedures and guidelines, ensuring that our facilities operate in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
- Environmental Benchmarking: Conduct internal environmental performance benchmarking studies among oil and gas refineries, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to reduce environmental impacts.
