Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Greet and serve guests in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to our service standards and recipes.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Consistently execute accurate pours and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Guest Experience: Interact with guests to ensure they feel welcome and cared for, actively seeking to build relationships and establish a loyal clientele.
  • Menu Knowledge: Know the food and beverage menu and be able to speak to it from memory.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Ring in orders into our point of sale system and accurately process payment and make change.
  • Cash Handling and Security: Collect payment for food and drinks served and maintain a secure and organized cash handling environment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain an organized work area, adhering to our cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • Safety and Compliance: Understand and practice proper safe food and beverage handling procedures, adhering to local government standards.
  • Age Verification: Card all guests who appear to be under the legal drinking age and refuse to serve alcohol to minors.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that all drinks are removed from the bar and tables by the state's legal limit.
  • Side Work and Sales Goals: Complete side-work tasks as assigned and strive to hit sales goals as assigned by the general manager.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 months experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day, lift and carry up to 40 pounds, and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Age and Availability: Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages, and able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written) and work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment.
  • Accommodations: Able to perform essential functions and demonstrate competencies to company standards with reasonable accommodation.
