GEMS Founders School - Al Mizhar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Digital Learning and Innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Computing teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Computing teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely intervention and support as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive educational experience.
  • Inclusive Learning Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A B.Ed or subject-related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience of teaching Computing at key stage 3, 4, and 5.
  • Sharing Best Practice: The ability to share your outstanding practice.
  • Creativity and Enthusiasm: A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
