About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Director to join our team at Dev2Work. As a key member of our Global Logistics department, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a global treasury strategy for our freight forwarding business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global treasury strategy that optimizes return on capital employed and ensures efficient management of cash across the global branch network.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, leasing companies, and regional finance managers.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to regional finance managers on how to effectively manage liquidity and currency finance.
  • Oversee intergroup funding structures and cash settlement, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Manage bank guarantees and negotiate ABL structures (Factoring) as required.
  • Perform foreign currency and interest rate hedging in collaboration with Head Office Treasury.
  • Support group treasury on funding processes within the region.
  • Report on cash positions, cash forecasts, and seek funding for shortfalls.
Requirements
  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in managing a treasury function in logistics/freight forwarding business.
  • Solid experience in implementing cash pool structures.
  • Masters degree in finance or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, with additional languages such as German or Dutch a bonus.
