Treasury Director

DP World is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Director Treasury to lead the development, implementation, and management of a global treasury strategy for our freight forwarding business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Treasury Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive treasury strategy that aligns with DP World's business objectives and risk appetite.
- Cash Management: Establish a cash management structure that optimizes liquidity across the global branch network.
- Treasury Operations: Implement, maintain, or improve the day-to-day treasury requirements for the freight forwarding business.
- Cash Position Management: Manage the cash position to optimize return on capital employed.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership, guidance, policies, and training to regional finance managers on how to effectively manage liquidity and currency finance.
- Intergroup Funding: Oversee intergroup funding structures and cash settlement.
- Tax Efficiency: Work closely with Group Tax and Group Legal to ensure that funding structures are tax-efficient and compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Bank Guarantees: Manage bank guarantees where required.
- ABL Structures: Oversee and negotiate ABL structures (factoring) where applicable.
- Foreign Currency and Interest Rate Hedging: Perform foreign currency and interest rate hedging in close collaboration with Head Office Treasury.
- Funding Processes: Support group treasury on funding processes within the region.
- Cash Position Reporting: Report on cash positions, cash forecasts, and seek funding for shortfalls.
- Team Management: Manage and lead an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring each team member is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives.
- DP World Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times, promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World's Principles, values, and culture.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
