About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Strategic Communications team in Dubai. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality communications support and advice to our clients in the financial services sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining media relationships to secure opportunities for our clients to participate in industry debates.
  • Proactive media relations, engaging with media on a daily basis and staying up-to-date on media moves and role/beat changes.
  • Supporting the delivery of financial and corporate communications programs, including drafting press releases, media statements, and award entries.
  • Compiling client activity reports and helping to keep account teams on track with deliverables.
  • Ensuring critical resources, such as press lists and calendars, are up-to-date for use by the wider financial services team.

In addition to day-to-day client responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the team and broader FTI Consulting through new business development, including:

  • Delivering research and contributing to new business pitch documents.
  • Proactively networking with media, capital markets, and industry contacts, as well as potential clients.

Key requirements include:

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) at any university or degree discipline.
  • Previous experience in an in-house communications or PR agency role is preferred.
