Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Operations: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations.
  • Employee Communications: Provide professional and timely responses to employee payroll queries, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Payroll Data Management: Enter payroll deduction data into our system, including staff miscellaneous deductions, penalties, and other relevant information.
  • Employee Profile Updates: Regularly update employee profile data and payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with Group Business Coordinators to obtain missing information and ensure seamless communication with employees.
  • Payroll Statements: Issue payroll statements to employees, including Statements of Accounts.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in standardizing payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all payroll information.
  • Time Attendance: Assist in the Time Attendance process.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduation in any discipline, preferably in accounts.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including typing, system, and software knowledge.
  • Wage Withholding Orders: Knowledge of wage withholding orders.
  • Data Entry: Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Confidentiality: Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records.
Experience:
  • Payroll Experience: 2-3 years' experience in payroll or accounts position, in the UAE.
