Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administrative functions and procurement systems related to site HR benefits and initiatives, focusing on employee engagement strategies, recognition programs, wellness resources, and more, for a diverse campus of approximately 1,300 personnel.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management to ensure that the work environment is well-maintained, improved, and supportive of employee wellbeing and productivity. Collect employee feedback to enhance the workplace experience continuously.
  • Generate timely and precise reports utilizing Workday and Excel to manage benefits enrollment, headcount statistics, email communications, employee resource groups, and additional tasks. Organize site documentation and reports while adhering to confidentiality and digital retention standards.
  • Handle payments, purchase orders, and contracts when acquiring goods and services for the site. Diligently monitor expenses to uphold budgetary constraints.
  • Facilitate site-wide initiatives such as onboarding for new hires, family recognition events, holiday celebrations, and more. Act as a primary contact for all employees to address inquiries, provide training and education, promote enrollment, and connect employees with new resources.
  • Work alongside site leadership to ensure that campus programs foster employee engagement, cultivate a culture of trust and inclusion, enhance productivity, and contribute to the organization's growth.
  • Ensure that site operations comply with employee relations policies, safety and security protocols, digital information security, and organizational values.

Qualifications:

  • Must be present on-site in Boston at least three days per week.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of IT systems and applications, including but not limited to Workday, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.
  • Collaboration and Culture Advocate: This position requires active participation in the HR Team and serves as a highly interactive resource for the entire site. Comfort in working with others, problem-solving, and relationship-building is essential for success in this role.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities to adapt communication styles to various situations and individuals. Highly proficient in written communication.
  • Advocate for Diversity and Inclusion: A strong commitment to enhancing a culture of inclusion, a genuine motivation to drive change, and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Creativity and Resourcefulness: Capable of planning and executing innovative solutions, events, and programs to continuously enhance existing systems and engage employees.
