Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Dubai, United Arab Emirates as an Islamic Finance Executive-Cards Sales.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to source Covered Card Applications from the local market and ensure that all business activities are conducted within ADIB's permitted policy and procedure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Main Responsibilities
  • To source New to Bank Covered card product to the specified target segment and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
  • To prepare and maintain DSR (Daily Sales Report) for the entire visited customers and company visits.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with all business entities and individuals where business was sourced.
  • To visit potential companies and institutions to finalize business deals within the targeted turnaround time based on ADIB policy and procedure and provide feedback to RSS.
  • Fully aware of product knowledge and implementing it at all times.
  • Deliver timely and prompt service to customers.
  • Adhere to stipulated office timing, follow secrecy norms, maintain data confidentiality and be presentable.
  • DSR should be submitted to the respective TL by the end of the day with complete details; non-compliance will be escalated.
Regular/Occasional Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review Standard Credit Application and ensure all information provided is accurate and authenticity of critical documents prior to sending to PU for processing.
  • Ensure all applications submitted are error-free and rectify any errors.
  • Follow approval process and escalate delays to RSS/Coordinator, if any.
  • Execute Murabaha contract with customer representing ADIB and prepare file as per checklist, forward card allocation for card issuance through coordinators within 24 hours of completing signing formalities with customer.
  • Check card disbursement and notify Coordinator/RSS in case of delay at Card center end.
  • Maintain good rapport with Inter-department peers by ensuring smooth flow of business.
  • Participate in activities assigned by RSS/line manager during promotions.
  • Initiate cross-sell other banking products on best efforts basis when required.
  • Educate customer complaints to supervisor level immediately, if any.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Broad knowledge of ADIB's Covered Card and other RBG products and services.
  • Fair knowledge of service standards, sales skills and computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks.
  • General awareness of competitors in local market.
