About the Job
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, developing and implementing new menus and recipes, and ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing meals, including menu development and ingredient sourcing.
- Coordinate kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and open communication among team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
