Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Q-Express Documents Transport. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of technicians, design solutions for challenging problems, and manage outside contractors.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment, react quickly to breakdowns, and communicate clearly with affected parties.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns and proposing changes to improve performance.
  4. Equipment Availability: Ensure high levels of equipment availability and reliability to operations teams.
  5. Contractor Management: Manage contractors and ensure adherence to Amazon standards within the site premises.
  6. Utilities and Sustainability: Monitor daily site utilities and sustainability performance and provide cause of change for any undesired results.
  7. Janitorial Services: Observe housekeeping and cleaning practices and ensure providing the highest level of janitorial services.
  8. On-the-Job Training: Provide on-job training to RME technicians and develop their skills matrix to ensure they have the right level of competency to perform tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial as major and +2 years experience in related fields.
  • Multi-skilled in either electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • PLC-based Controls Systems and mechanical components knowledge.
  • CMMS experience to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • OEE and equipment performance metrics understanding.
  • Statutory Compliance Requirements knowledge.
  • Contractor Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience and ability to mentor and develop training plans for other service technicians.
  • Multi-contractor Management experience.
  • Self-motivated and customer-centric with ability to troubleshoot under high pressure.
