Job Role:
  • This position involves overseeing Health & Safety (H&S) aspects in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective H&S plans to mitigate risks.
  2. Cooperate with workers to ensure correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  3. Regularly inspect the facility to identify potential hazards and abnormalities.
  4. Work closely with supervisors and management to address disciplinary issues promptly.
  5. Organize regular H&S training sessions and Safety Induction training for staff.
  6. Investigate Incident & Accident reports thoroughly and document findings.
  7. Regularly inspect and maintain Safety equipment and tools.
  8. Lead emergency evacuations and participate in evacuation drills.
  9. Verify that Emergency Exit doors are secure and accessible.
  10. Monitor high-risk operations within the facility.
  11. Establish effective waste management and housekeeping procedures.
  12. Undertake other duties assigned by the Department head as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in NEBOSH / IOSH
  • Able to think critically and solve problems effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated to promoting a positive safety culture within the organization
  • Results-driven, focused on continuous improvement
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and relevant work experience
