The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial support to the finance department at Minor International. This position requires an individual with a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Assist the Cluster Director of Finance in preparing comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts that provide valuable insights into the hotel's financial performance.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial outcomes.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure prompt payment and receipt of funds.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations to mitigate risk and maintain a secure financial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in finance or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
