Job Overview

The Accounts Assistant plays a crucial role in the financial operations of Hireget. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions and support for the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable invoices by verifying their accuracy, securing necessary approvals, and entering data into the financial system.
  • Prepare and issue payments to vendors and suppliers, ensuring that all transactions are processed in a timely and precise manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Support accounts receivable functions, including generating invoices, recording payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, which include preparing reconciliations and financial reports.
  • Contribute to payroll processing by performing data entry, calculations, and distributing paychecks.
  • Engage in financial analysis and reporting tasks as assigned by management.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the finance department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
