Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for book sales (Physical format + Amazon).
- Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with publishers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the book industry.
- Market Analysis: Identifying market trends, new opportunities, and customer preferences to refine sales tactics and product offerings.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Overseeing the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track and present progress.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive book sales.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within the book publishing or distribution industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
