Book Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for book sales (Physical format + Amazon).
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with publishers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the book industry.
  3. Identifying market trends, new opportunities, and customer preferences to refine sales tactics and product offerings.
  4. Overseeing the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track and present progress.
  5. Coordinating with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive book sales.
  6. Managing distribution channels to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products.

Qualifications And Experience:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management, preferably within the book publishing or distribution industry.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities are required.
  5. A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals is necessary.
  6. Adaptability and creativity in a dynamic and evolving market are also important.
