Job Description

As an Aviation Training Instructor at Emirates, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our engineering trainees. Your primary goal will be to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become accredited Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Delivery: Conduct classroom instruction and practical training sessions in our state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that trainees acquire the required skills and knowledge.
  • Program Development: Establish and conduct training programs in collaboration with the Engineering Basic Training Manager, ensuring the availability of instructional resources and materials.
  • Trainee Support: Monitor the progress and welfare of individual trainees, providing guidance and counseling as needed to achieve training objectives.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all training activities comply with GCAA and EASA safety standards and regulations.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Analyze post-course evaluations to determine training effectiveness and suggest improvements to the Engineering Basic Training Manager.
  • Examination Coordination: Coordinate with the Examination Training Manager and the Examination Unit as an Invigilator/Examiner and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for developing and organizing new examination questions and papers.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Engineering or a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a CAR66 or International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) equivalent Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License and received Module training relevant to the subjects being taught.
