We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industry Technology Specialist to join our team in the Middle East. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs and leading technical activities to find innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical activities to identify and develop biological solutions for customers in the baking industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Digital Transformation, to provide professional technical support and innovative solutions.
- Plan, execute, and report projects from laboratory to industrial scale, including new method and procedure development and adaptation.
- Conduct and supervise in-house and on-site tests to establish technical proof of concept.
- Support sales teams from a technical perspective to create solid business cases for new applications and commercial opportunities.
- Support product launches throughout all project stages, from product development to test marketing and roll-out.
- Run technical training on products and applications to internal stakeholders, customers, and distributors.
- Join customer visits for technical discussions, project management meetings, and trials to ensure technical expertise is fully in place.
- Manage the technical project timeline and ensure all actions are taken accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in food engineering or food science.
- 5+ years of experience in the baking industry.
- Knowledge in enzymes, flour milling, bread making, and food ingredients formulations.
- Hold an MSc degree (or MBA) and other food industry experiences are a plus.
- Customer-oriented and have a commercial mindset.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed (both domestic and international).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong drive, positive mindset, high ability to learn, goal-oriented, well-organized, and teamwork skills working with colleagues globally.
