Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Decarbonization Manager to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our decarbonization strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Decarbonization Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a comprehensive decarbonization strategy, aligned with our corporate vision and goals.
  • Carbon Footprint Management: Identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our value chain and operations, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, carbon capture, utilization, and storage.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as business units, operations, R&D, finance, procurement, customers, suppliers, regulators, and industry associations.
  • Project Management: Lead and support cross-functional teams in carbon management projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on carbon management best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and communicate carbon management reports and presentations for senior management and external audiences.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Engage with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about evolving carbon management regulations and best practices.
  • Culture Development: Mentor and coach the organization to build a culture of decarbonization and accountability within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: +6 years of professional experience in large, multinational, complex companies in the energy sector, driving emissions metrics and decarbonization programs.
  • Skills: Data analysis skills, understanding of GHG metrics, experience translating GHG emissions findings into actionable recommendations for decarbonization, strong project management skills with a cross-functional approach, and excellent team player and communication skills.
