AECOM is seeking a Lead Geotechnical Consultant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with experience in leading geotechnical projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

About the Role:
  • As a lead geotechnical consultant, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • You will provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Additionally, you will conduct site investigations and soil testing to determine geotechnical properties and soil behavior.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical consulting and field investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and earth retention systems.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software such as gINT, GeoStudio (SEEP/W, SLOPE/W), PLAXIS, and FLAC.
