Welcome to the role of Procurement Coordinator at Sofitel Mumbai BKC. This position is responsible for ensuring that all supplies are received in accordance with purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • We maintain a strict adherence to company policies and procedures regarding supply receipt.
  • Our objective is to achieve cost control through efficient inventory management and maintaining accurate records.
  • The team collaborates closely with the purchasing manager and Executive Chef to address rejected deliveries, short supplies, and non-supply issues.
  • Quality checks on incoming supplies are conducted to ensure they meet quantity, price, and shelf life requirements.
  • Specialized expertise may be sought from relevant departments for quality assessments where necessary.
  • We ensure timely delivery of products to their respective destinations without delays.
  • Credit notes are issued as required.
  • Documents related to returned hotel properties are maintained and followed up accordingly.
  • Daily updates are provided to accounts payable with supporting documents.
  • We maintain accurate records of supplies on order and within our inventory system.
  • Assistance is provided to the Assistant and Cost Controller during month-end inventories and reconciliations.
  • The team assists in administering the Inventory system.
  • We participate in quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
  • We perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Cost Controller and Assistant Cost Controller.
