We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Operating Officer/Director of Operations to join our team and help us establish and manage our new outpatient child and adolescent mental health and rehabilitation center. As a seasoned healthcare leader, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our strategy, overseeing facility operations, and leading a team of clinical and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive business plan, including marketing strategies and revenue projections.
- Oversee facility design, setup, and readiness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols specific to child and adolescent mental health services.
- Recruit, onboard, and train clinical and administrative staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality care.
- Secure necessary licenses, certifications, and accreditations for the facility.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Define the facility's mission, vision, and strategic goals, focusing on accessibility, family-centered care, and community outreach.
- Design service delivery models tailored to children, adolescents, and families, incorporating best practices and evidence-based interventions.
- Establish clinical and operational performance metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight (Post-Opening):
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless integration of clinical, administrative, and support services.
- Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance the patient experience and improve operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture prioritizing quality care, family involvement, and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure services emphasize developmental appropriateness, cultural sensitivity, and family engagement.
- Work with clinical teams to develop therapy, counseling, and diagnostic services, integrating rehabilitation services within the mental health framework.
- Establish patient and family feedback mechanisms to enhance service quality.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Clinical background in child and adolescent mental health services required.
- Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in mental health or pediatric settings within the GCC.
- Experience in healthcare start-ups or launching new services.
- In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health regulations, accreditation standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Strong financial acumen and leadership skills.
