Telecom Business Development Manager

Michael Page is seeking a skilled Telecom Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing small-to-medium business (SMB) clients through direct sales efforts. Your key responsibilities will include generating leads, closing sales, and building strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth in the telecom sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- You will identify and target SMB customers for telecom services through door-to-door sales.
- You will present and promote telecom products and services, including GSM connections (Postpaid, Fiber, and Business On).
- You will conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
- You will prospect new business opportunities and maintain a steady pipeline of potential clients.
- You will follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and conduct face-to-face meetings.
- You will utilize CRM tools to track sales progress and update customer information.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with SMB customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- You will provide after-sales support, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- You will act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Market & Competitor Analysis:
- You will stay updated on telecom industry trends, competitive offerings, and market conditions.
- You will gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
- You will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and technical support.
- You will prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). You will also need 1-3 years of experience in outdoor or B2B sales, proficiency in selling GSM connections (Postpaid, Fiber, and Business On), and a valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
