About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Administrator to join our team at DG Jones and Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, reviewing, and managing contractual agreements to ensure compliance with project requirements and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Administer, review, and manage contractual agreements to ensure compliance with project requirements and legal regulations.
  • Assist in procurement processes, including pre-qualification, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Identify contractual risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Support in resolving contract-related disputes, claims, and variations in accordance with RICS guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, prepare reports, and ensure proper documentation of all contractual matters.
  • Ensure all contract administration activities align with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
  • RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) certification is required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in contract administration with exposure to large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and construction-related agreements.
  • Experience with claims management and dispute resolution in large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation, legal compliance, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
