Job Description:

The Compliance Officer - Legal will be responsible for ensuring that all legal requirements are met. This includes monitoring and ensuring compliance with updated local and federal laws and regulations, organizing and analyzing legal information, and handling transactions with authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with updated local and federal laws and regulations.
  • Organize and analyze legal information.
  • Handle transactions with authorities including MOA updates and secretary amendments.
  • Prepare correspondence, resolutions, and minutes of meetings.
  • Organize and track case files and coordinate law office activities.
  • Assist in managing multiple cases and provide related support.
  • Coordinate document translations and attestations as required.
  • Process third-party and vendor invoices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Law Graduate Diploma or relevant law degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience, preferably in in-house corporate roles. Previous legal experience in Pakistan is mandatory.
  • Expertise in Pakistan's legal frameworks, regulatory practices, and documentation processes.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and federal laws in the Middle East and Pakistan.
  • Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Candidates should be currently based in the UAE.
  • The role involves frequent travel to Pakistan.
  • Skills: Excellent drafting and IT skills, service-oriented with exceptional analytical and writing skills, strong time management and organizational abilities, advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and high levels of motivation, ability to manage multiple projects with short deadlines, capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
