Job Description:

In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
  • To order and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies, blood tests, and imaging studies.
  • To diagnose and stage cancer based on test results, determining the extent and spread of the disease.
  • To develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate the latest advancements in medical oncology.
  • To administer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
  • To monitor and manage the side effects and complications associated with cancer treatments.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist Medical Oncology.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology principles, practices, and treatment options.
  • Expertise in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including biopsies and imaging studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for complex oncology cases.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
  • Experience participating in clinical trials is a plus.
