We are seeking askilled and compassionate RadiationOncologist to join our clients multidisciplinaryteam dedicated to providing exceptional cancer care. The idealcandidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating cancerpatients using advanced radiation therapy techniques with a strongcommitment to patient care and safety. Proficiency in Arabic orFrench is essential for effective communication with patients andcolleagues.

KeyResponsibilities

  1. Patient Care and TreatmentPlanning

    • Evaluate anddiagnose cancer patients to determine the most appropriateradiation therapy treatment.
    • Developindividualized treatment plans using advanced imaging modalitiessuch as CT MRI and PET scans.
    • Collaborate withmedical physicists dosimetrists and radiation therapists to ensureprecise delivery of radiation therapy.
    • Monitorand adjust treatment plans based on patient response andprogress.

  2. Clinical Expertise

    • Administer and oversee various radiationtherapy techniques including IMRT VMAT stereotactic radiosurgery(SRS) and brachytherapy.
    • Ensure compliancewith safety protocols and radiation protection standards tosafeguard patients and staff.
    • Stay updated onthe latest advancements in radiation oncology and implementevidencebased practices in patient care.

  3. MultidisciplinaryCollaboration

    • Workclosely with oncologists surgeons pathologists and otherspecialists to provide comprehensive cancer care.
    • Participate in tumor board meetings to discuss complexcases and develop optimal treatment strategies.

  4. PatientCommunication and Support

    • Explain treatment options procedures and potential sideeffects to patients and their families in a clear and compassionatemanner.
    • Provide emotional support to patientsduring their cancer treatment journey.

  5. Administrative andEducational Duties

    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records includingtreatment plans progress notes and followup care.
    • Participate in training and mentoring programs formedical staff and students.
    • Contribute toquality improvement initiatives and clinical researchprojects.
Qualifications andRequirements

  • Education:

    • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) withspecialization in Radiation Oncology.
    • Boardcertification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience as a RadiationOncologist preferably in a multidisciplinary cancercenter.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques (IMRT VMATSRS brachytherapy etc..
    • Strong knowledge ofradiobiology dosimetry and radiation safety principles.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills withfluency in Arabic orFrench .
    • Ability to workcollaboratively in a teamoriented environment.

  • Licensure:

    • Valid medical license to practice
