HR Generalist

About the Role

The HR Generalist will be responsible for implementing effective people strategies through close coordination with employees, line managers, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will act as a point of reference on all HR functional and operational areas.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Employee Guidance Provide day-to-day guidance to all employees on HR functional areas including administration, onboarding, and employee relations among others.
  2. HR Compliance Tackle HR related matters and tasks in compliance with labor law.
  3. Onboarding and Offboarding Cover all the onboarding and offboarding cycle.
  4. HR Dashboards and Analytics Update periodic HR dashboards, analyze KPIs and metrics, and recommend solutions in coordination with the HRM.
  5. Policy Updates Update and monitor HR policies and SOPs, procedures, and related forms as well as job descriptions and organizational charts for all departments.
  6. Performance Appraisal Assist in the implementation of the yearly performance appraisal ensuring fairness and transparency all across.
  7. HR Database Management Maintain and update the HR database, records, and employee files while monitoring schedules, attendance, and leaves for proper action.
  8. Contract Development Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  9. Exit Interviews Conduct exit interviews identifying trends and remedial actions in coordination with the HRM.
  10. Probation Meetings Ensure that probation meetings are conducted and forms are filled in due time.
  11. Center of Excellence Collaboration Engage and coordinate closely with the Center of Excellence in projects related to employee and organizational needs.
  12. Employee Relations Attend to employee relations, address performance concerns and other related issues, and escalate to the direct manager when and as needed.
  13. Interdepartmental Partnerships Partner with other departments such as Finance, Legal, and IT achieving shared organizational goals and objectives.
  14. Labor Law Knowledge Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, local labor laws, and HR best practices reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  15. Training Programs Evaluation Participate in evaluating and monitoring training programs, with a close follow up on mandatory trainings (Code of conduct, Cybersecurity, IT, etc.).
  16. HR Initiatives Planning Coordinate in the planning of HR initiatives and events focused on enhancing employee engagement and company culture.
  17. System Implementation Support in the implementation of myMidis modules across all departments.

Position Requirements

Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or any other related field.

Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
