Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team at Arada. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the full design process from conceptualization to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and construction management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Assess and evaluate design consultants' performance, including scope definition, contract management, budget stewardship, and progress monitoring.
  • Monitor projects' budget against design requirements across the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and steward projects' risks and key milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review design documents throughout different project stages to maintain design intent.
  • Obtain stakeholders' approvals on design stages, confirm cost and program compliance, and present designs.
  • Interface with Commercial Management to procure services.
  • Participate in establishing and implementing Project Management Plans and Design Implementation Plans.
  • Prepare tender strategies, identify qualified consultants and vendors, and evaluate technical proposals.
  • Monitor material selection, RFIs, and construction phases to ensure primary design intent.
  • Oversee and guide design progress activities, monitor and verify design progress, and submittals at all design phases.
  • Aware of local and international Fire Life Safety codes and regulations.
