Overview:
As the Senior Vice President of Procurement at ALDAR, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic procurement operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance in all procurement activities related to corporate products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the formulation and execution of procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, from the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to the selection of consultants and contractors.
- Review and authorize all non-project procurement activities in accordance with Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Ensure the creation of comprehensive tender documentation that adheres to legal standards, policies, and market conditions.
- Implement corrective measures to optimize procurement processes, focusing on reducing time and costs.
- Manage the disposal of corporate assets, including vehicles and office furniture.
- Negotiate advantageous contracts and identify cost-saving opportunities with vendors.
- Conduct regular evaluations of vendor performance to ensure the delivery of value-added services.
- Establish and monitor procurement objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and annual plans.
- Facilitate negotiations with suppliers to secure the best technical and commercial terms.
- Supervise the technical assessment conducted by internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the commercial evaluation of proposals to ensure optimal agreements.
- Validate and approve the final recommendations for contract awards.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services in accordance with RFP specifications.
- Coordinate the procurement process, acting as a liaison between external suppliers and internal departments.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving procurement excellence and fostering strong relationships with vendors, ultimately contributing to the overall success of ALDAR.
