We specialize in Motive Power applications, covering industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment. Our diverse product portfolio includes Hawker, Ironclad, General Battery, and Fiamm brands, addressing various industries' motive power requirements.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support and training to the Motive Power sales force and partners, ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge and skills to meet customer expectations effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Motive Power Middle East sales and service teams to drive business growth.
- Undertake thorough analyses and compile comprehensive technical reports to inform the sales team about material handling projects.
- Direct the sales force on battery and systems, emphasizing their importance in meeting customer demands.
- Develop and implement training programs for sales and service teams on equipment operation and maintenance, focusing on safety protocols.
- Travel to customer sites (domestic or abroad) to evaluate, diagnose, and analyze customer fleets and systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical analysis reports before and after value-added projects, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective actions based on inspections and findings, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain open communication channels with all levels of people, both within and outside the company, building trust and strong relationships.
- Facilitate collaboration between customers and MP Service Units, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in business roles, preferably in technical/sales positions within the material handling industry.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial batteries and chargers equipment is essential.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Proven experience and knowledge of material handling products and market trends.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- CRM knowledge is highly valued, but not mandatory.
- An active driving license is necessary for travel requirements.
- No restrictions on domestic or international travel.
- A self-motivated individual with excellent prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to solve problems quickly, work under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- A team player with a 'solutions-oriented' mindset, committed to delivering exceptional results.
- Open to relocation opportunities, with a willingness to relocate if needed.
