Role: Country Sales Executive for Asia Pacific Market

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Country Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales success and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business in Rixos properties and increase market share in all revenue streams.
  • Negotiate room rates according to company standards and selling strategy, taking all necessary actions to secure the business.
  • Attend Sales Events as required.
  • Maintain generating accounts through various sales activities (face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, site inspections, entertainment) jointly with Accounts Manager.
  • Ensure all business requests are handled within 24 working hours, accurate follow-up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments and confirmation to client.
  • Arrange or conduct site inspections as required in Rixos UAE hotels.
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of company products and rates and involvement in cross-selling to our sister hotels when required.
  • Perform all duties & responsibilities in a timely & efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve position objectives.
  • Prospect new potential accounts for Rixos Hotels and follow the sales process through to convert them into producing accounts.
  • Ensure revenues are maximized through proactive actions rather than reactive management.
  • Templates and tracking files must always be accurate and up to date, recording the outcome of sales activities on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that Rixos Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the Rixos hotels, thus identifying a high level of commitment.
  • Adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
  • Maintain professional business confidentiality.
  • Good knowledge of Sales & Marketing and Microsoft Office & Microsoft Outlook, using technology available for reports, communication, and client correspondence.
  • Flexible to adapt to sudden increases in working hours as per business needs.
  • Participate in any Training/Development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  • Comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
  • Ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience with the same position in a 5-star hotel and high school degree. Preferably with Sales experience in the Asian market.
