Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Emirates Islamic. As a key member of our Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of compliance risks across our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Undertake enhanced due diligence for periodic and trigger reviews, and risk-based Compliance Monitoring to ensure our policies and procedures are being complied with.
  • MIS Management: Maintain the reporting MIS for the team and ensure that cases are assigned and tracked for review and conclusion.
  • Aging and Overdue Cases: List aging and overdue cases in an internal watch list and/or raise Exit and/or SARs based on trigger risk assessments.
  • Internal SAR Reviews: Ensure that reviews on all Internal SARs are recorded, reviewed, and tracked for conclusion.
  • Risk Assessments: Make risk assessments and help management make informed decisions on investigations conducted.
  • Escalation and Reporting: Escalate significant non-compliance and report breaches, issues, and concerns to management.
  • Compliance Risk Identification and Monitoring: Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks, including managing the Group's AML/CTF and Sanctions Risks.
  • Collaboration with Business Lines: Work proactively with business line contacts and management to ensure effective and efficient compliance risk management solutions are identified and implemented.
