Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at MAJID AL FUTTAIM. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Delivery Team on all Commercial aspects of the project, developing project(s) through the direction of control documents and instruction from the senior management team, and establishing best practice procedures on cost management within the Project Management Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Project Management
    • Support the Delivery Team on all Commercial aspects of the project, including cost planning, cost reporting, change management, and contract close out.
    • Develop project(s) through the direction of control documents and instruction from the senior management team.
  • Cost Management
    • Establish best practice procedures on cost management within the Project Management Department, including delivery of initiatives on benchmarking and risk management.
    • Assist with the auditing of projects to ensure processes and procedures are adopted.
  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Manage the procurement of Consultant and Contract services.
    • Compile the commercial assessment of all tender submissions (either internally or using a third party).
    • Compile the contract document, and execute it with the respective contractual parties.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Issue a monthly commercial report on project(s) following project finance meetings, incorporating an up-to-date cash flow and analysis of costs to date and projected final account figures.
    • Assist with contract administration of construction and consultant appointments, including the payment process.
    • Final account close out.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial project management, cost management, and procurement. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
