Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Ensure effective communication with the Housekeeping Department, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of housekeeping services.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Guest Services
    • Ensure that all guest rooms are clean and ready for arrival, and that all guest requests are met in a timely manner.
    • Monitor room statuses to ensure that clean rooms are available for arrival guests.
  • Inventory and Supplies
    • Take inventory of housekeeping supplies and report any discrepancies to the Assistant Manager.
    • Ensure that all housekeeping equipment and supplies are in good working order and are properly maintained.
  • Lost and Found
    • Record all lost and found articles and store them in a secure location.
    • Return lost and found items to their rightful owners in a timely manner.
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and follow safety and security protocols.
    • Report any safety or security concerns to the Assistant Manager.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of housekeeping software.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
