Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional in investment portfolio management who can formulate lifecycle management strategies and create diverse campaign frameworks with all related financials and marketing messages throughout the various phases of the account lifecycle, including acquisition activation, spend stimulation, balance enhancement, and customer retention.

Flexibility: The candidate can work from any location with the ability to travel as necessary.

Strategic Planning

  • Assist in the creation and execution of the new product development strategy aligned with the annual business plan to ensure the continuous advancement of commercially viable products and services aimed at maximizing profitability in the short, medium, and long term.

Market Analysis

  • Monitor the external business landscape and stay updated on developments in the financial sector to identify new business opportunities and enhance existing product features;
  • Investigate regulatory shifts, competitor strategies, and consumer trends to ensure our offerings remain competitive;
  • Continuously track branch and outlet performance metrics, product outcomes, and results (assuming performance dashboards and analytics reports are available);
  • Assist in conducting feasibility studies to recommend appropriate pricing strategies.

Product and Service Innovation

  • Support the development and enhancement of products and processes that are innovative and aligned with market trends and business objectives;
  • Regularly assess the product and service portfolio to advise management on phasing out outdated products, revitalizing existing offerings, and identifying gaps that require new solutions;
  • Project the financial viability of new products and services to optimize profitability;
  • Identify, prioritize, and design effective processes to maintain a competitive advantage in product initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards;
  • Assist in ensuring the profitability of the card business through the development and close monitoring of budgets, ensuring that revenue and cost targets are met in accordance with business plans;
  • Analyze and interpret financial indicators related to all aspects of the card business to guide and rectify variances as per business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Islamic banking and payment market trends, opportunities, and product launches;
  • Experience in the complete lifecycle of product launches, including designing product features, understanding segment needs, and exploring partnerships;
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to achieve objectives with minimal guidance;
  • Experience in communicating and engaging with senior stakeholders for periodic updates;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
