Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional in investment portfolio management who possesses the expertise to formulate lifecycle management strategies and craft diverse campaign frameworks, encompassing all relevant financials and marketing narratives throughout various phases of the account lifecycle, including acquisition, activation, spend stimulation, balance enhancement, and customer retention.
Flexibility: The candidate can operate from any location with the ability to travel as required.
Strategic Planning
- Assist in the formulation and execution of a new product development strategy aligned with the annual business plan to ensure the continuous evolution of commercially viable products and services aimed at maximizing profitability in the short, medium, and long term.
Market Analysis
- Conduct thorough assessments of the external business landscape and stay updated on advancements in the financial sector to pinpoint business opportunities, develop new products, and enhance existing offerings;
- Investigate regulatory shifts, competitor strategies, and consumer trends to maintain the competitiveness of products and services;
- Monitor business volumes, product performance, and outcomes closely (assuming availability of performance dashboards and analytics reports);
- Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies to recommend appropriate pricing strategies.
Product and Service Innovation
- Support the development and enhancement of innovative processes that are relevant to market trends and business objectives;
- Regularly evaluate the product and service portfolio to advise management on the discontinuation of outdated products, identify those needing revitalization, and address gaps with new offerings;
- Project the financial viability of new products and services to optimize profitability;
- Identify, prioritize, and design effective processes to maintain a competitive advantage in product initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards;
- Assist in ensuring the profitability of the card division through the development and rigorous monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with business plans for both revenues and costs;
- Analyze and interpret financial indicators related to all aspects of the card business to guide and rectify variances in accordance with business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Islamic banking and payment market trends, opportunities, and product launches;
- Experience in the complete lifecycle of product launches, including designing product features, understanding segment needs, and exploring partnerships;
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to achieve objectives with minimal guidance;
- Experience in communicating and engaging with senior stakeholders for periodic updates;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
